Challenge on Gratitude-
Good morning ladies. I wanted to take a moment to encourage you with the practice of gratitude. It’s not always the first thing I turn to but when I do my days turn out much different.
Have you ever found yourself around people saying or maybe have said yourself:
1. It must be nice …
2. Why can’t I …
3. How come they …
4. When will it be…
5. One day I’ll….
Those statements do nothing but build up resentment, bitterness, and envy. Comparison is the thief of joy and has no place for a soul. It robs you of your peace and what you have right in front of you.
What if those statements could all be replaced with these four words:
🌱🌱 I AM THANKFUL FOR… 🌱🌱
What if we started each morning with a gratitude list of what you were thankful for? How would that change your perspective on your life? What if we actually sent a handwritten card each week to a person that came to mind? How would that change their life?
This little, yet powerful, art of gratitude practice has the power to heal, renew, and shift our focus. This month, I challenge you to practice this each day.
💕Make a daily list in a notebook of what you are grateful for.
💕Handwrite a card each week or when you feel led and mail it out.
💕Call someone and have a phone conversation about why you are grateful for them.
💕Buy a coffee or special treat for someone and drop it off.
Put in the comments what gratitude does for your heart and put into practice today this easy heart transformation!
